Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary:

In a high-volume pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician is tasked with the precise and timely distribution of prescription drugs. Their responsibilities include ensuring that medications are prepared and distributed according to the standards established by the company and laws, while also prioritizing providing excellent member assistance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of prescribed medications.
• Provide assistance to pharmacists in the handling and packaging of medications.
• Monitor and renew pharmacy inventory.
• Offer outstanding service to members and handle medication-related inquiries within the appropriate framework.
• Meet the necessary standards set forth by pharmacy laws and regulations to operate within legal boundaries.
• Utilize technology in the pharmacy setting to process and fulfill medication orders.
• Support the day-to-day functioning of a high-volume pharmacy.

Qualifications:

• The minimum education requirement is completion of high school or its equal.
• Meeting the requirements for pharmacy technician certification is a legal obligation determined by the state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting is highly valued.
• Having a meticulous approach and great organizational competencies.
• Strong capabilities in clear and concise communication coupled with excellent customer relationship management.
• Competence in performing well in a fast-moving and high-volume work environment.
