Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in the precise and prompt distribution of prescription drugs within a busy pharmacy environment. This position involves guaranteeing that medications are formulated and delivered following the protocols of the organization and the laws in place, all while upholding excellent customer care standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Accurately and promptly distribute prescribed medications.
• Support pharmacists in the process of organizing and dispensing medications.
• Keep track of and replenish pharmacy stock.
• Deliver exceptional support to clients and address inquiries about medications within professional boundaries.
• Make sure to adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations to stay in line with legal requirements.
• Utilize pharmacy machinery and electronic systems to fulfill prescription requests.
• Assist in the smooth functioning of a busy pharmacy setting on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is a necessary prerequisite.
• Obtaining certification as a pharmacy technician is mandated by state regulations.
• Preferred qualifications include prior pharmacy setting exposure.
• Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Demonstrating outstanding communication skills and exceptional customer service aptitude.
• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting with a high volume of tasks.
